There has been a lot of confusion about how about businesses run now after the provincial shut down due to covid-19. Here is a quick update on how we operate.
We still accept walk ins for hair cuts. We ask you come in the front door, and sign a sheet for contact tracing information only should we need to. If the bench is open, you may have a seat, but we are limiting the amount of people in the shop at this time. So you MAY have to wait outside in your car, or stand outside the door. We are going down this list as a first signed in, first served bases. We are not calling people, or asking them to come back. Be patience, please.
Hand sanitizers are located within the shop (at the doors, sinks, etc). We also have sinks to wash hands if you can’t use the hand sanitizer. YOU HAVE TO USE ONE OF THEM! We ask that you don’t bring in outside gloves. Masks are required so please bring one, or we will provide you with one. We ask that if you take one, please tip an a dollar for the cost if you can.
Still, we ask that you don’t bring more than yourself, unless you are a parent with a child. Please don’t bring more than those getting a hair cut. We know this is hard on parenting, and arranging schedules, but we can’t have a group of people sitting and watching in a small space. That person limit could be used for other patrons to get a haircut within that time.
Toddlers and those who on oxygen/asthma/copd/etc that have issues with masks can go without according to Health officials across the province, but are asked to try and wear one if they can. It’s hard to ask an infant to wear one, on top of getting a hair cut. We know the struggle is real. We are only trying our best.
All Barbers are still wearing masks the entire day, and diligently cleaning as we go. Morning and evening ritual cleanings are happening daily (even days off) to help maintain a safe environment for everyone. With the use of products like Microban 24 (kills germs up to 24 hours on high contact surfaces), Lysol sprays and wipes, and more. We are doing everything we can to make sure that our shop is clean, safe, and inviting as always. For you, for others, and ourselves.
We do accept cash! We have the atm at the back of the shop for your convenience.
Gregory’s Appointment customers MAY use the back door entrance to help with the flow of the room since he’s closer to it. Please knock and he will let you in.
We are told NO BEARDS UNTIL PHASE 3 or notified about the lift of facial work by the province and local health unites. We are taking private orders for professional grade clippers to maintain beards for at home use. Talk with Gregory.
Blenheim shop has reduced its hours and no longer has a walk in barber on sundays for the summer.
All the rules we posted before, are still in tact, and this is an update only. Please see our previous post about the rules of the shop for regards to covid-19.
