We spent the day in Mississauga at Square One – Rec Center. We learnt a lot at the summit regarding today’s Canadian hair industry. A great mixer with Kasho Shears, Andis Clipper Company, Efe Magazine, and Canadian Barbers off Instagram.
We realized the importance of being inclusive in today’s society, and about celebrating each others achievements. How to improve our business, and set our selves apart. We need to showcase in our work on social media that we don’t just cater to caucasian. We are able and capable of doing a good job on any time of hair, regardless of ethnicity. We need to showcase people in general for how awesome they are, and their hairstyles we can create for them on our social media.
Everyone is welcome at the Black Comb Barbershop and Shave Parlours.
It was a great day full of opportunity to grow, and education. A lot of laughs, and new friendships were established. A special thank you to Canadian Barbers on instagram for creating this event, and all their sponsors for making it occur.
We look forward to going to another in the near future, and being the influence to create the change we wish to see in our industry.
