RE OPENING FRIDAY – WHAT TO EXPECT

* WE ARE OPENING FRIDAY!!! **

We are going to expecting high volumes for the first month. We are going to be doing our very best to accommodate everyone, and formed a plan on how to so in this unprecedented time. We ask for patience, understanding, and cooperation. We doing everything in our power to be available for everyone to get a hair cut in a timely manner, without a fuss, and continue as business as usual. With this being said, please read over the rules, and understand the new procedure for our WALK-IN WAIT LIST. We are still operating the same hours as before.

WE HAVE SOME SHOP RULES EVERYONE NEEDS TO FOLLOW:

  • WE WILL BE ONLY OFFERING HAIR CUTS FOR PHASE 2 (ONTARIO GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS AND RULES)
  • EVERYONE WHO ENTERS MUST WEAR A MASK, AND CHILDREN WHO CANNOT WEAR A MASK MAY STILL BE ABLE TO RECEIVE A HAIR CUT FOR THE TIME BEING. IT’S A GREY ZONE. UNTIL TOLD OTHERWISE, IT’S ACCEPTABLE.
  • WE ARE UNABLE TO HAND OUT MASKS AT THE CURRENT TIME, BUT IF NEED, WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO ASSIST YOU WITH THE SALE OF ONE. WE ASK YOU COME PREPARED.
  • AT THIS TIME THERE IS NO SHAVES, BEARD TRIMS, ETC.
  • IF YOU BOOKED AN APPOINTMENT, THOSE HAVE BEEN EITHER CANCELED OR CHANGED TO HAIRCUT ONLY. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED.
  • PLEASE COME WITH DRY CLEAN HAIR
  • YOU MUST USE HAND SANITIZER UPON ENTRY. WE HAVE IT SUPPLIED FOR YOU.
  • PLEASE, NO OUTSIDE GLOVES, IF YOU MUST, PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS.
  • PLEASE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS IN YOUR POCKET, JACKETS, BAGS, ETC IN YOUR CAR.
  • OUR WASHROOM IS STRICTLY FOR OUR STAFF
  • WE ASK YOU WAIT OUTSIDE UNTIL INVITED IN OFF THE ROSS ST. DOOR, WE ARE DOING A WAIT LIST FOR WALK INS.
  • WE ALSO ASK YOU DO NOT BRING EXTRA COMPANY, UNLESS YOU ARE A PARENT/GUARDIAN OF A CHILD.

WALK IN – WAIT LIST (ST THOMAS)

Walk ins will be first come, first served basis. Jim will have a WAIT LIST SHEET to manage this in the shop, and will take Names and #’s at the front of the shop  (Which is the ROSS ST DOOR). We will do our best to call or text to let you know that you are up (For those who don’t have a cell – he can wave at you through the window to signal you in). We ask that customers walk in, and sign up one at a time, and have their name on the WAIT LIST to see him.  A wait list is a scheduled time THAT day for you to return. It is NOT an appointment. It’s an allotted time slot for you to return that day so you don’t have to waste your day as we can’t have people waiting in the shop.

David will have a white board for you to sign a slot on first come first served basis. He will do his best to call or text to let you know that you are up (For those who don’t have a cell – he can wave at you through the window to signal you in). We ask that customers walk in, and sign up one at a time, and have their name on the WAIT LIST to see him. A wait list is a scheduled time THAT day for you to return. It is NOT an appointment. If you aren’t around when it’s your turn, the next guest will be taken, and you may have to resign up.
We are diligently cleaning out stations tools and products thoroughly to help keep everyone safe. Patience is required in this times, and we are grateful for all the support we are receiving.

APPOINTMENTS

If you wish to book an appointment, please visit blackcomb.resurva.com for one. Its online booking, and self managed by you. Cancellations do happen so check back frequently.
Gregory will be modifying all beard and shave appointments and contacting the individuals who may have booked it in error. The system wasn’t suppose to allow these at the present time, and will be corrected. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may incur.

PHONE CALLS

We will most likely not be answering the phone as it is a high contact surface, and we need to allow time to for our staff to work, disinfect their stations, and try to stay on time. All info is on our website Please share this with friends and family. We will return phone calls at the end of the day around 8pm, if you ask us to in a voicemail. We also accept text messages.
